SCALDING FATALITY
DEATH OF 11 MONTHS CHILD. FALL INTO BATH. (By Telegraph.—Press Association.) Waipukurau, this day. At nine o’clock last night Mr. and Mrs. G. H. Beer.e found that their only son John, aged eleven months, had entered an inset bath full of hot water on a level with the floor. The child was severely scalded and taken to hospital, death occurring at midnight.
