TRAGEDY IN CHURCH
COLLAPSE OF FLOOR. DURING MASS AND WEDDING CEREMONY. (Press Association.—Copyright.) (Received 11.45 a.m.) London, November 21. The Chronicle correspondent at Warsaw says while a congregation of a thousand was attending Mass in the Church of the Holy Cross, and a wedding service was being celebrated in an adjoining chapel, the floor collapsed and the bride, bridegroom, priest and hundreds of worshippers were buried in the debris. The choir was thrown to the bottom of the thousand-year-old cellars beneath the church. Many casualties are feared.
