TEDDY SHIELD MATCH
WIN FOR OTOROHANGA. In a Teddy Shield football match, played between the Pio Pio and Otorohanga High Schools on the Domain this morning, Otorohanga gained a decisive victory, the score being 47 points to nil. Otorohanga was a far heavier team and their backs, well fed by Saunders, were responsible for most of the scoring. Early and Fellingham ivere prominent for Pio Pio. Mr. Dudson was referee. The final for the Teddy Shield will now be played between Otorohanga and Te Awamutu. Basket Ball Match. A basket ball match was also held between the Pio Pio and Otorohanga Schools, Otorohanga winning by 15 to 3.
