EMPRESS THEATRE
“AMATEUR DADDY.” “Amateur Daddy,” to -be screened at the Empress Theatre to-night and Monday, tells the delightful story of a shy and staunch bachelor, who upon the death of a pal, takes it upon himself to mother his family. The family consists of four waifs, the oldest of which is a girl of about 18, the part played by Miss Nixon. The story is based upon the widely read novel of Mildred Cram“ Scotch Valley.” Marion Nixon plays the feminine lead opposite Warner Baxter, while Rita La Ray, William Pawley and David Landau are also featured.
