IMPORTANT JUDGMENTS
MOTOR COLLISION CASE. In the actio'n and cross-action heard at the Otorohanga S.M. Court on Wednesday,'when Dominion Motors, Ltd., proceeded against C. Langkilde, Otorohanga, for £6B 0s lOd, being ccst of repairs and. general damages to the their car. The plaintiffs were nonsuited, with costs £3 9s. In- the cross-action, when Vera and Paula Langklide (daughters of Mr. C. Langkilde) sued the Dominion Motors, Limited, for £l6l 2s 9d. made up of loss of- earnings, medical expenses, convalescent expenses, clothing destroyed, pain and suffering, etc. Judgment was given in favour of the ■plaintiffs, the total amount of damages of which will be ascertained at a later date.
John Russel, the driver of the Dominion Motors' car, for failing to keep to the left was convicted and discharged, and on a further charge of dangerous driving was fined £2 and Court costs 16s.
