SCOUT NOTES

SCOUTERS' REMARKS <fr* RALLY.

(By "Campfire.")

We will not give the Rally Competition results here as they appeared in the Chronicle last Tuesday. Those who read through the will, we are sure, agree that our local. boys put up a very wonderful exhibition of Scoutcraft at the Rally. It was a very great honour to be asked to lift our trestle and march along in front of the crowd and display it; also to be asked for a demonstration in wall-scaling. Commissioners and other Scouters could not believe it could be done so quickly until demonstrated by our own Scouts. We. are very pleased and proud to have-

won all the big events. We Scouters are very proud to be officers of a troop which is capable of putting up such an excellent exhibition of Scoutcraft. We congratulate the boys on their work. We have to congratulate Otorohanga on their wins of the day. They also attained excellent results. Te Awamutu also deserves congratulations on their construction of the signal tower, which was indeed very good. -
