HAMILTON STOCK SALE. The Farmers' Co-operative Auctioneering Co., Ltd., report:—At the weekly stock sale in the Frankton yards on Tuesday, 15th inst., there was a large entry of both beef and mutton, and an exceptionally heavy yarding of pigs. Sheep: An extra heavy yarding of sheep came forward and sold under steady competition at just about equal to late rates. A heavy yarding of lambs showed an advance in price. Cattle: A heavy yarding of both ox and cow beef with prices showing a decrease on late rates, this being no doubt due to the extra large numbers. Boner cows showed a slight improvement on last week's quotations. Pigs: There was a particularly heavy yarding of fat and store pigs with baconers selling on a par with last week's sale, while porkers were slightly easier. Store pigs realised late quotations.
