MEAT SUPPLIES
NOT BEING KILLED AT ABATTOIR In his monthy report to the Borough Council on Monday night, the abattoir manager (Mr. Williams) stated that during the month of February the following stock had been killed at the abattoir: Cattle 37, calves 2, lambs 18, sheep, 173, pigs 36. The report stated that meat not being slaughtered at the abattoirs is being delivered in the abattoir area, and that some action is necessary to stop this.
