DE VALERA'S TROUBLES
EXTREMISTS BECOME RESTIVE.
MENACE TO NEW GOVERNMENT.
(Press Association.—Copyright.) (Received 10.10 a.m. London, March 11. The Times’ correspondent at Dublin says Mr. De Valera faces a problem which is likely to assume ugly proportions. The Sinn Fein and other extremists do not care whether the oath of allegiance is removed, as they resolutely refuse to recognise British connection in any shape or form. , , . ~ Mr. De Valera won’t placate the Republican Left Wing movement by any constitutional juggling. These men will be as great a menace to the new Government as they were to Mr. Cosgrave. In fact they already describe the new Government as “His Majesty’s Ministers.”
