POLICE IN THE BLOOD.
FAMILY’S REMARKABLE RECORD.
A family with a remarkable record of service in the London police held its annual reunion last year. They are the sons and daughters of Mr. Arthur Lincoln, who died in 1912, and who was concerned, as a policeman, in the capture of Charles Peace, the notorious criminal. Four of the seven surviving sons are or have been policemen, and all three daughters are the wives of policemen The eldest son, who died in 1927, was also in the police force.
