SALVATION ARMY HARVEST FESTIVAL.
(To the Editor.) Sir, —On behalf of the Te Kuiti Corps of the Salvation Army I should like, through the medium of your paper, to thank all the kind friends and sympathisers who gave money and goods so generously, to the recent Harvest Festival appeal. Far and near folks have responded toi our request and have been willing to help on a worthy cause. Our thanks are also due to the friends who entertained us so well with music and song on Monday night and to Rev. Ross, who was the chairman for the occasion, and to Mr. Bennett, who auctioned the goods. — I am, etc., RUTH F. JENKINS, Officer-in-Charge.
