EAST COAST WEATHER
HEAVY RAIN AND FLOODS. MAIL SERVICES DISLOCATED. (By Telegraph.—Press Association.) Gisborne, this day. The heavy weather experienced during the past few days is now moderating. The liner Port Brisbane, which arrived from Sydney on Monday morning and had to put to sea, has returned to port and commences loading to-morrow. The heavy rain of last night brought rivers into flood, though no serious overflow is reported
The mail and passenger services are disorganised to-day through slips and the flooded roads.
