PLIGHT OF INDEPENDENT CANDIDATES. RELEASE FROM GAOL REFUSED. (Press Association. —Copyright.) (Received 11.30 a.m.) Berlin, March 7. The Saxon Government refused to release Adolf Winter from gaol in order to conduct his own campaign as an independent candidate for the German Presidency.
Adolf Winter, at present imprisoned at Jena for swindling, represents the fanatics who believe in revalorisation of the particular series of old mark banknotes stamped in red.
