SALVATION ARMY
HARVEST THANKSGIVING. A harvest thanksgiving social evening was celebrated at the Salvation Army barracks last night when a representative attendance was presided over by the Rev. E. R. E. Ross. _ At the close of the concert the gifts, comprising an assorted variety of fruit, vegetables, preserves, honey, home-made bread, etc., were auctioned by Mr: Bennett. The following programme was presented:—Address, Rev. Rosfc; solo, "My Dear Soul," Mrs. Gray; duet, "When I Survey," Mrs. Lever and Miss E. Elliott; solo, "Youth," Mr. W. McNaught; solo, "God's Garden," Mrs. Gittins; flute solo, "Serenade," Mrs Lever;.violin solo, "Life Let Us Cherish," Master Morrott.
