I wonder how many of you would have clearer skins if you only ate when you were hungry, and by that I mean really hungry. There is absolutely no necessity to have breakfast, lunch, dinner and tea, and if you suffer from a bad complexion try the effect of cutting out one of these meals and eating instead an apple and drinking a large glass of cold water. ,

It is more than probable that your indigestion will disappear as if by magic and you will feel much gayer and younger. . It is a certainty that your skm will improve and become clearer. One of the surest signs of bad health is a "muddy" skin. Feeling ill does not necessarily mean that you are suffering from either liver or indigestion, but if you are ill from some other cause you will find, as a rule, that your complexion may be colourless but it is not 'muddy. And if, in addition you would like to snap people's heads off on the slightest provocation, you can be pretty sure that you need a starvation diet and a generous allowance of cold water.

If you go to bed at a reasonable hour, there can be no necessity to awake with difficulty and to feel drowsy and longing for a few hours' more sleep.
