STRATFORD-MAIN TRUNK
COMPLETION OF CONSTRUCTION WORK. DISMISSAL OF UNEMPLOYED. (By Telegraph.—Press Association.) Stratford, this day. About sixty single men employed on* the Stratford-Main Trunk railway were given notice of dismissal to take effect from December 19. This is an indication that the construction work is nearing completion. Besides the tunnel contract, which keeps thirty men going, there is nothing to do besides the small fillings and cleaning up.
