GREAT NORTHERN GUINEAS. 4-Golden .Wings (8.10) 1 I—Bronze Eagle (8.10) 2 3—Croupier (8.10) 3 Scratched: Aspian, Bugle Call, Cornerman, Don't Lap, Gay Court, Highy Comedy. Won by half a length, four lengths between second and third. Time, lm 37 3-ss. SHORTS HANDICAP. 12—Kozan (7.2) * 4—Cadlard (9.7) * 9—Biddy's Boy (8.2) 2 *Dead heat. Brilliant weather favours the Napier Park one-day spring meeting. The track is in excellent order and there is a large crowd present. The ten shillings totalisatdr was used for the first time.
