STOCK SALE

AT TE KUITI YESTERDAY. The usual fortnightly sale of stock was held at Te Kuiti yesterday. There were fairly large yardings of both sheep and cattle, pi'ices being on a par with ruling rates. The Loan and Mercantile Agency Co., Ltd., report having received the following prices:— Cattle.—A line of 2 to 2£-year Hereford cattle, £2 16s to £2 19s;' store cows £2 to £4; good 18-months heifers £2 to £3 15s. Sheep: A line of 500 4-year s.m. ewes, 4s 6d; 200 5-year ditto, 7s 6d.

Messrs. Dalgety and Co., Ltd., received the following prices: Lambs, 2s 9d to 2s lOd; ewes, 3s to 3s 2d; rams £2 2s.
