POLISHING WINDOWS.
To obtain a brilliant polish on the windscreen and windows of a car they should first be cleaned with 9 *rag thoroughly damped with paraffin oil and afterwards polished with a dry cloth. Windows may be prevented from steaming by rubbing them with a duster on which a few spots of glycerine have been sprinkled. Another tip relating to windows: Sometimes a small piece is chipped off one of the corners, but there should be no need to replace the window if the broken piece has been kept it can be cemented in place. To do this make up an adhesive by dissolving a little isinglass in spirits ofs wine, add a small quantity of water and warm the mixture.
