APPOINTMENT OF HEADMASTER.
MR. P. F. SKINNER
The appointment of Mr. P. F. Skinner, headmaster of the Otorohanga High School, to Te Kuiti as successor to Mr. W. Smith, who is to retire shortly, has beep recommended by the local committee, and awaits formal confirmation of the Board. Mr. Skinner has had a distinguished career of service, commencing his profession as a pupil teacher at the Tauranga District High School and being promoted to first assistant. He occupied the position later of assistant at Richmond Road and Ponsonby, Auckland, his first appointment as headmaster being at Te Kopuru. Mr. Skinner was appointed headmaster at the Otorohanga District High School about six and a-half years ago.
