ABOLISHING UPPER HOUSE.
BILLS PASS ALL STAGES. (Press Association.—Copyright.) (Received 10.50 a.m.) Sydney, this day. Two Bills dealing with the abolition of the Upper House were passed in all three stages by the Assembly. The Leader of the Opposition, Mr. Bavin; protested against the “unseemly haste” displayed by the Premier, .Mr. Lang, in attempting to abolish the Upper House, for which he had no direct mandate from the electors.
