VALUABLE FIND
JEWELS AND SILVER WARE. FROM RUINS OF POMPEII. (Press Association. —Copyright.) (Received 12.30 p.m.) Rome, December 8. A treasure chest containing a remarkable collection of jewels was found in a villa at Delabbondasza, Pompeii, the find including bracelets, ear-rings, and a silver dinner service, all in an excellent state of preservation.
It is estimated that the value of the chest is half a million.
