A SEA MYSTERY

SMALL VESSEL ADRIFT.

NO TRACE OF CREW.

(Press Association. —Copyright.) (Received 2.16 p.m.) London, December 5.

The Marie Celeste mystery was recalled by the discovery by three fishermen of the abandoned French ketch Combresel off Larocque, a rocky part of the coast, drifting aimlessly with full lights burning, the engines running and the sails set but not a sign of life aboard. The fishermen boarded the ketch and brought her to St. Helier harbour. The untouched breakfast stood on the cabin table.

Thus far the widest enquiries have not revealed a trace of the crew.
