It is believed that the Senate Agricultural Committee has been discussing the question of l'aising the wheat tariff now standing at 42 cents a bushel. . , Such a move, while it might have a beneficial effect on the political fortunes of the Senate is considered by farm experts as probably unnecessary from an economic point of view.
