EASTER SPORTS.
MEETING AT PIO PIO. Easter sports will be held at Pio Pio on Easter Monday, and the fixture promises to be well up to the standard of those held there in previous years. Handicaps have been declared and there are good entries in all the big events, especially the chopping contests, which should prove of more than ordinary interest this year. There are good entries in the chief running events and there should be some close finishes.' Horse events will also be included in the programme. The Eltham Pipe Band will be in attendance, while there will also be a number of novelty attractions on the grounds. The meeting will be held in Mr Johnson’s paddock,' and arrangements are in the hands of a capable committee.
