FEILDING STOCK SALE. Messrs Abraham and Williams, Ltd., reptort as follows on Feilding sale held on Friday, 16th inst. :—There was a small yarding of both sheep and cattle and practically all our yarding was sold under the hammer at prices on a. par with last week’s sale. We quote:— Sheep.—Fat b.f. lambs to 26s sd, fat b.f. 2-tooths 26s 9d to 29s 4d, fat wethers 26s 6d to 275, fat ewes 19s to 21s sd. Cattle.—Fat heifers to £4 17s 6d, fat cow's £4 17s 6d to £7 ss, fat bullocks £lO 17s -6d to £ll 16s, springing cows to £lO 12s 6d, forward cow's £3 15s to £4 15s, store cows 27s 6d to £3 2s 6d, bulls £4 15s to £6 10s, 1 4-year mare £2l. Messrs Dalgety and Co., Ltd., report having a small entry of fat and store sheep and a small entry of cattle at their Feilding sale on Friday, 16th inst. There was a keen demand throughout for all classes of stock, and the following! are quotations:—
Fat ewes 19s 4d to 20s 9d, fat 2tocths 25s to 25s lOd, fat wethers 265, empty ewes 16s 7d, cull 2-tooth withers 20s, 2-tooth ew'es 28s 6d, aged w'oolly ewes with w.f. lambs 37s 3d, springing heifers £7 10s to £8 12s 6d, cows in milk £8 to £lO, store cows £2 10s to £3 ss, light fat cows £5 4s to £6, prime fat cows £7 19s, light fat bullocks £lO 17s 6d, prime fat bullocks £l2 2s 6d to £l2 3s.

SHEEPSKINS. Messrs Dalgety and C'o., Ltd., report having received the following cablegrams from their London house dated 15th inst.: — Sheepskins.—There is a good attendance of buyers, competition good. 3043 bales offered, and 2799 sold. The selection is good, demand general. American and Home trade buyers -are the principal operators. As compared with closing rates of last series, merino combing,- par to 5 per cent higher; merino clothing and short combing, 5 per cent to 7 5 per cent higher; fine crossbred clothing, fine crossbred combing 5 per cent to 7? per cent higher; medium and coarse clothing, 7i to 10 per cent higher; medium and coarse combing, 5 ’to 7£ per cent higher; lambs unchanged; pelts slightly higher. Merino, to full-woolled, 14d to 17d; do, to i-woolled, 9d to 13d; do, short and shorn, 8d to 85 d; crossbred, 4 to full-woolled, fine, 14d to 18i; do medium, lid to H^d; crossbred, | to 5 woolled, fine, lOd to 14£d; do, medium and coarse, 9d to 12d ; crossbred, short and shorn, to lambs, 12id to 15£d. FROZEN MEAT. N.Z. prime Canterbury lamb, 28 to 36lbs, 9|d; North Island, 9id; Canterbury lamb, 36 to 42lbs, 9fd ; North Island do, 9id; Canterbury lamb, second quality, Bid ; North Island do, 7|di; Canterbury lamb, 42 to 50lbs, 9d. N.Z. prime Canterbury mutton, 48 to 561bs, 6gd ; North Island do, s|d; Canterbury mutton, 56 to 641bs, s|d; North Island do, s|d; Canterbury mutton, 64 to 721bs, sid; North, Island do, s|d; Canterbury ewes, 48 to 641bs, 4|d; prime North island do, 4|d. Good average quality Australian lamb, 28 to 361bs, Bid. The marfor Australian lamb is dull owing to lack of demand. The demand is poor. Lambs, thirds, s|d to 6|d. Argentine chilled hinds, 6id; fores, 4d. English pork, 80 to lOOlbs, lOd. N.Z. porkers, 80 to lOOlbs, Bid ; 100 to 1201bs, 8d ; N.Z. baconers, 120 to 1701bs, 6id ; 170 lbs and over, 6d. DAIRY PRODUCE. Butter.—The market is weak and irregular. New Zealand finest, salted, 156 sto 1625. Danish butter, 180 sto 186 s. Australian finest, unsalted, 162 s to 164 s ; do, salted, 152 s to 1565. Cheese.—The market is dull. New Zealand cheese, white and coloured, 90s to 92s ; Canadian cheese, white anti coloured, 98s to 100 s,
