LOCAL AND GENERAL.
A fine of £2O for failing to destroy rabbits on their farm at Kio Kio was inflicted upon R. M. and D. S. Catanach, at the Otorohanga Police Court on Wednesday. The accused did not appear, and the inspector stated that ‘ it was their second offence. Prior to his leaving New Zealand, "n Lord Jellicoe was presented by the Government Publicity Office with a handsome album, containing very fine I views of the sporting and scenic at- | t rate ions of New Zealand. The views were well selected and the album was tastefully and attractively bound in the Government Printing Office. In acknowledging the gift, Lord- Jellicoe writes to the Minister:—“l jam exceedingly grateful for the album of photographs which you have been so kind as to send me. The views will be a very interesting reminder of our particularly happy time in this Dominion. Will you kindly thank the Publicity Department for their kind thought.” '
