Pursuant to the provisions of "The Municpal Corporations Act, 1920," "The Local Elections and Polls Aot, 1913," "The Local Bodies Loans Act, 1913," and amendments thereof, the Te Kuiti Borough Council hereby gives public notice that it proposes to raise a Special Loan of £6OOO (Six thousand pounds), for the purpose of: STREETS improvements And for the repayment thereof to make an annually recurring Special Rate of 7-16 d (seven-sixteenths of a penny) in the £ upon the unimproved value of the whole of the rateable property within the Borough of Te Kuiti, for the purpose of providing the required security to meet the interest and sinking fund charges, during the currency of the said Loan, which shall be for a period not exceeding 36£ years (thirty-six and a half years). It is proposed to pay out of the said Loan the cost of raising same together with the first year's interest and sinking fund thereon. By Order. JOHN KIERNAN, Town Clerk.
