MR J. C. ROLLESTON. Mr Rolleston had a splendid meeting at Hangatiki on Saturday, and the usual vote was carried by acclamation. At Rangitoto at 2 p.m., and Oparure at 8 p.m. on Monday, Mr Rolleston had most enthusiastic meetings, and had a good hearing at both these places. To-day at noon Mr Rolleston spoke at Mangaotaki, and speaks again at Rangiatea at 7.30 p.m. Mr Rolleston leaves for Waitara to-night, where he speaks to-mor-row, after which he returns to Te Kuiti on Thursday at mid-day. MR W. T. JENNINGS. At Tapuwae yesterday afternoon Mr Jennings addressed a gathering of over 40 electors at the sawmill. Mr Edkins was voted to the chair, and at the conclusion of questions, a vote of thanks was carried, with three ringing cheers for success on Thursday next. At Honikiwi, at the special request of the settlers, Mr Jennings will address the electors to-morrow afternoon.
