An invasion of opossums is reported to have occurred recently in the Otahuhu district (says an exchange), and residents are complaining of damage done to fruit trees in the neighbourhood. It is stated that lemon trees of large size are being attacked by what is already stigmatised as a "pest," and manybranches have been completely stripped of their bark.
