BOWLING.
ANNUAL TOURNAMENT. GOOD ENTRIES RECEIVED. Good entries have been received for the Te Kuiti Club’s annual tournament commencing on Friday next. Competitors from all parts of the North Island have entered, and include past New Zealand champions in Messrs Smart (New Plymouth), Prof. Walker (Auckland) and Bell (Wanganui). No fewer than nine outside teams will be competing, and the local club is busy making preparations so that the stay of the visitors may be as pleasant as possible. In the meantime, members are reminded that regular practice is being carried on every Tuesday and Thursday at 7.15 p.m. under electric light.
