Mr W. B. Peek, of the Telagraph Department, Auckland, spent the holiday with friends in Te Koiti. Mr A. Mowat, sheep station manager, of Uokao, is visiting Te Ksiti. Ur M. E. Coffey has rcaignad from the telephone braoch of the Te Koiti pdat office, in order to go on the land. Mr J. Wall, chairman of the Waitomo County Council, was in Te Koiti to-day to preside at the monthly meeting: of tha council. Mr W. V. Lorigan, who has sold bi» farm at Kio Kio, leave* to-day for Auckland in company with Mra Lorigan. Mr Bugooin, who waa formerly manager of the well-known Cashmere estate, in Canterbury, and has recently purchased a sheep farm in district, has been joined by Mrs llogonin. They are staying at Kelvin Bouse. Cr W. Johnstone was welcomed back to the Waitomo County Council to-day after an absence through illness.
