AWAMARINO.

The weather here last week has been showery, but most people would have preferred more dry weather in these parts to enable them to burn up logs, as the drought did not dry the grass up here. The filling in at the approach to the Marokopa bridge has been finished. This ought to prove a blessing, as that is usually a boggy place through the winter months. There is an improvement in the roads here each summer, and we only need good roads and people from the Waikato would be pleased to come through to the seaside at Marakopa for their summer vacation.
