STOCK SALES,
Messrs Dalgety and Co., Ltd., report:—
Taihape.—A heavy yarding of sheep and a fair entry of cattle came forward. There was a good attendance of buyers, but prices were in favour of buyers, most lines selling at prices on a lower range of values than those previously realised. We quote:—Cull lambs 2s 5d to 7a, mixed shorn lambs 10s 6d to 12s, two tooth wethers 238 3d to 245, four tooth wetbers 28s 3d to 29s 3d, two and four t"oth ewes 21s 3d, four and six tooth ewes 22s to 245, four and five year ewes 21s lOd, mixed aged ewes low condition 12e, cull ewes, aged gs to 12s, four and six tooth Romney rams 2fgng, other rams to 25s 3d, three year steers £lO 10s, two year steers £7 5s to £9 10s, eighteen month cattle £6 lis, forward cows £8 15s to £9 10s.
