EASILY HEPULSED. AMMUNITION STOKE EXPLODED. London, Wednend.iy. Sir Douglaa HBig reports ~ "A local attack on our trenches eastward of Martinpuich was easily repulsed. "Our fire exploded an ammunition store in the neighbourhood of Hill 60." Paris, Wednesday. A communique states: Bad weather has hampered operations on the greiter portion of the front. Our artillery has been active on both banks oi the Somme and on the right bank of tho Mouse." Amsterdam, Wednesday. A German cummunicpie stales: "The French temporarily penetrated our trenches on the west elope of Mort Homme."
