While the true position to-day threatened Germany with ruin end failure it was true our position was one of deadly peril and danger.. , What Ave had to guard ugainßt was a stalemate resulting in 8 peace brought about by universal exhaustion or bankruptcy with war breaking nut again as soon as Germany recuperated.
