NEW ZEALAND LOAN.
SUBSCRIBED FIVE-FOLD. London, Monday. The New Zealand loan of £4,500,000 Was subscribed five fold. The subscribers number 25,800. The loan closed within 90 minutes after the opening of the bank. Postal applications from other parts of the United Kingdom did not therefore receive consideration. The stock was quoted at a premium of one in the evening. The papers comment on the remarkable success of the loan considerng its size.
