SHEEP WORRYING CASE.
JUDGMENT FOR PLAINTIFF. The sheep worrrying case in which an Arapae settler named Jens Tbomasen sued two Maoris named Tariao and Te Pore for the value of sheep worried and damages and which was heard last court day at Te Kuiti, created considerable amount of interest. The magistrate reserved judgment in the CBse and has now delivered a written judgment for the plaintiff for £4O 15s, of which sum the amount of £lO 15? is for general damage J. His Worship hßld that the ownership of the dogs had been fully established and fixed that value of the sheep a t 20s per head. Mr Finlay appeared for the plaintiff and Mr Hine for defendants.
