It is understood representations are to be made to the Auckland Board of Education with a view to having an infant bra ich of the public school established near the southern end of the town. The situation of the present school is suitable for the older echo lars, but there are numbers of smaller children who are practically debarred from attending owing to the distance they would require to travel, and the establishing of an infant branch would meet the case.
