BACKLOCKS EXPENDITURE.
A PARTY CAUCUS. COUNTRY MEMBERS ACTIVE. The Reform party held a caucus on Thursday morning. The principal matter discussed was the question of administration as it affects the backblocks, especially regarding roads and bridges. Representatives of outlying districts held a meeting previously, and decided to approach Ministers on the subject. »Ah the result of the caucus it is officially stated that a thorough understanding has been arrived at.
