Sing Sing Prison, in New York, concerning which aome startling disclosures were recently made, will pro* bably soon be a thiogef the past. A grand jury that has been conducting an investigation into the condition of the famous American gaol reports that the place is not fit for criminals. It is overcrowded, and the prisoners are declared to be stricken with disease and unclean.
