TO HELP SMALL FARMERS.

Mr Walter Runciman, president of the Board of Agriculture, announced in the House of Commons that the leading joint stocK banks had agreed that their rural branches should assist in the formation of Credit Societies tor the purpose of helping email holders with financial advice and loans. The banks are to advance inoney to the societies on the most livourfthlaterme. , ; > »*.
