NURSES' LONG HOURS.
|«Y TKI-KC»ArH. TRUSS ASSOCIATION. | Napier, Yesterday. There is a spirit of revolt amongst the nursc3 at the local hospital, consequent on the extremely long night duties imposed. It. is alleged that the health of several nurses has broken down, as a result of the long hours, with the result that one sent in her resignation and the others threaten to follow suit unless the conditions : re improved. It is stated that in son« cases nearly 70 hourn a week ia being worked.
