J- the powers vested in it in that behalf by the "Local Bodies Loans Act, 1908," the Waitomo County Council hereby resolves as follows : THAT for the purpose of providing Interest and other charges on a loan of £4OOO authorised to be raised by the Waitomo County Council under the above-mentioned Act, for the purpose of metalling a portion of the several roads of the HONIKIWI SPECIAL RATING AREA, the said Waitomo County Council hereby makes and levies a Special Rate of One Penny Half-penny in the Pound upon the rateable values of all rateable properties in the Honikiwi Special Rating Area. And that such Special Rate shall be an annual recurring rate during the currency of such loan and be payable halfyearly on the Ist day of February and Ist day of August in each and every year during the currency of such loan, being a period of 'SGh years or until the loan is fully paid off; and subject in all respects to the provisions relating to a Special Kate raised as a security for a loan under the said Act. The interest to be paid on such loan is at the rate of Four Pounds Seventeen I Shilling's and Sixpence per cent, per I annum, and the interest thereon for one year together with the cost of raising the loan ia to be paid out of such loan. The above resolution was passed at a Special meeting of the Waitomo County Council on the 17th of October, 1910, and will be submitted for confirmation as a Special Order at the next Ordinary Meeting of the Council, to be held at the County Chambers, Te Kuiti, on Wednesday, the 2-Srd of County Cleric.
