To the Editor. Sir,- —Can you tell me what has become of the poundkeeper and ranger recently appointed by the Borough Council, and if he is still in the land of the living, why he does not attend I to his duties, or why do not some of our city fathers see that lie does? The footpath between Rora street and the English Church is getting into a terrible state owing to'people riding, driving and leading horses along it. The same applies to footpaths in many other streets. Horses may be seen wandering aboyjt the streets iday -and night.
