The trial of Mrs Wilson charged with the murder of her governess at Carpentaria Downs Station is proceeding at Brisbane. The evidence of the aboriginal, Wilson, is sensational. He states that accused got him to hold the governess in bed while accused held a handkerchief to the sleeping womans' face and stabbed her in the neck with a knife. The latest development in the station murder case, is that the aboriginal, Billy Wilson, the chief witness for the Crown, has now been charged with the murder of Miss Duffy. The charge against Mrs Wilson is, however, to be continued, Mr Fisher, the new Federal Prime Minister, denies the statement of Mr Thorn, a Christchurch socialist, that he cabled to New Zealand urging the workers to vote solidly for Labour. He did not think he was called upon to interfere in the affairs of a friendly I The Victorian Premier delivered his ! budget on November loih. He stated ' the revenue for the past y:ar had been i £8 205,G08 and the expenditure £7,348, i 357. The railway revenue had been £3.874,000 and the imports for the year had increased by nearly £3,000, 000.
