IMPORTANT LOOKING.
There was an amusing incident in Lisbon recently. A stranger was seen wandering round one of the Embassies. “Who is he?” queried a secretary. “1 expect he’s come about some peace terms,” replied an attache. So another attache said to the stranger: “Have you come about the peace terms, my nifin!” “No,” replied the stranger with considerable hautier “I’m looking for the leak in the cistern.”
