NOTICE is hereby given in accordance with the provisions of the River Boards Amendment Act, 1925, That it is the intention of the Kaikoura River Board, at a meeting to be held on SATURDAY, the 12th Day of AUGUST, 1944, to appoint the following propositions upon the several classes of land as set out in the classification list: — One Halfpenny in the Pound (£) on the Rateable Value of all Rateable Properties in Class “A. ” One-third of a Penny (l-3d) in the Pound (£) on the Rateable Value of all Rateable Properties in Class “B.” One-sixth of a Penny (l-6d) in the Pound (£) on the Rateable Value of all Rateable Properties in Class “C.” For the period commencing on the Ist Day of April, 1944, and ending on the 31st Day of March, 1945. Such rates to become due and payable in one sum on the 11th Day of SEPTEMBER, 1944.
