ODDFELLOWSHIP.
A meeting of the Loyal Heart of Oak Lodge was held <•:. Tuesday night, Bro. N. Guthrie presiding over a large attendance of members. The N.G. extended a hearty welcome to Bro. I’. Clarke, of the Loyal Napara Lodge, Oamaru, Bro. Clarke expressing thanks for the cordial welcome given him. The Lecture Master conferred the blue degree on Sister M. Wells. Sick pay amounting to £2, and other accounts £5 9/6, were passed for payment. After the business of the lodge had been transacted the competitions continued. An enjoyable supper was served by the ladies. Manchester Unity officers for the next two years were elected at a New Zealand conference, as follows: Grand Master, Mr J. E. Allan, Auckland; Deputy-Grand Master, Mr W. B. Brown, Wellington; Board of Directors, Messrs T. N. Hetet (Te Kuiti), D. D. Merritt (Nelson), A. H. Robinson (Hawke’s Bay), C. Wilson (Wanganui), A. Gow (North Canterbury), W. D. Sabiston (North Canterbury).
