RUSSIAN OREL ADVANCE
GAIN'S NORTH AND SOUTH. LONDON, July 27. The Russians are ’ still closing in steadily on Orel. The heaviest fighting yesterday was I again south of the <sty, the Russians capturing two more ~ stations on the Kursk-Orel railway, tad several other places nearby, one «E them only 15 miles from Orel. i The Russians y®terday advanced from three to six iffiles and occupied more than 70 inhabited places. Seventy of these places are South-east ot ZhizIra. on the Bryansk«ukhinichi railway. I nhabited localities feceupied south-east of Orel include the Railway stations ot Yermokhino and Yfcopkino, the latter being on the Ord-Kursk railway 20 miles south of Orel# There seems to? be little doubt it Moscow that the f Russian entry into Orel will occur witlin a matter ot days (says the Moscow Correspondent ot the British United Preps).
